Role Overview:

As a Material Control Specialist II, you will be involved in various activities within the Material Logistics process, including DC/Warehouse distribution and shop floor control. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of materials from receipt to distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Material Tracking: Release, interpret, process, and track the status of route cards to ensure accurate movement of materials.

  2. Material Handling: Ensure proper handling and storage of materials throughout the entire material flow process.

  3. Logistics Operations: Unload delivery vehicles, sort materials by destination, and scan materials to proper locations. Ensure that incoming materials are free from damage and properly handled.

  4. Inventory Management: Move materials from one staging/stocking location to another using appropriate inventory transactions.

  5. System Processing: Process materials using automated systems, such as CAS/SAP, to ensure timely delivery of materials to various departments.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles as required.

  • Process parts through receipts of purchase or manufacturing orders.

  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and quality procedures.

  • Responsible for the accuracy and packaging of shipments.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and apply Lean concepts within functional responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in material handling, expediting, or warehouse operations.

  • Certifications: Ability to obtain Q or PQ/RI stamp.

  • Skills: Proficient in CAS/SAP transactions, basic computer skills, and the ability to perform math and reading assessments.

  • Character: High level of integrity and reliability.

  • Physical: Ability to lift and move heavy items, forklift experience preferred.

Pay Details: $20.20 per hour
