NDT Tech II

• Conducted non-destructive tests (NDT) to determine product acceptability according to prescribed
methods and procedures.
• Recorded, organized, and evaluated test results, entering data into relevant documents.
• Ensured compliance with radiation safety regulations, prioritizing safety for self and others during testing.
• Maintained equipment and ensured calibration for accurate testing.
• Managed inventory control of area equipment.
• Assisted and collaborated with other NDT Technicians as needed.
• Coordinated NDT inspection workload based on priorities, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provided technical support to subordinate NDT technicians.
• Conducted process control on area inspection equipment.
• Performed exposure room safety checks and established radiation safety measures.
• Operated automated ultrasonic C-scan inspection equipment for composite parts.
• Demonstrated flexibility by being available to work any shift.

Education:
• High School Diploma or GED

Certifications:
• NDT Level II Certifications in two (2) disciplines
• PT: 32 Formal Training Hours, 400 Experience Hours
• MT: 32 Formal Training Hours, 530 Experience Hours
• ET: 80 Formal Training Hours, 800 Experience Hours
• UT: 80 Formal Training Hours, 800 Experience Hours
• RT (Film or non-film): 80 Formal Training Hours, 800 Experience Hours

Skills:
• Proficiency in blueprint reading/interpretation and shop mathematics.
• Familiarity with MAUS-V, Phase Array, and automated C-scan operation preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read a scale and perform basic shop math.
• Proficiency in current computer-based software.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.
• Ability to lift and transport objects up to 40 pounds.

Additional Information:
• Experience in inspection of composite and sheet metal parts preferred.
• Some training provided, with potential for conversion to full-time employment.
• Industry background in aerospace.
• Up to 25 travel may be required.
• Interview process typically involves phone/on-site interviews, with one round of interviews.
