Job Summary Kalitta Air is seeking a dedicated Ground Support Mechanic Helper in Oscoda, Michigan. This role will assist mechanics in aircraft maintenance and repairs while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist mechanics in the repair or alteration of aircraft articles and components.
Follow written and verbal instructions accurately in English, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Read and understand technical documentation to support maintenance activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; college or technical school training is a plus.
Proficiency in English for writing reports and giving clear instructions.
Strong ability to work with mechanics to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Physical Demands

Frequently required to reach, stand, walk, talk, and handle tools or objects.
Occasionally required to sit, climb, kneel, stoop, or crawl.
Able to lift and move objects exceeding 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Maintenance setting with loud noise levels.
Safety toe boots/shoes and basic hand tools/drill/driver are required.
