Job Description

Cabin Safety and Training is responsible for the regulatory compliance of cabin operations and the management of Air Transat flight attendant, pilot, flight dispatcher and mechanic training and qualifications.

The Administrative Assistant, Training and Cabin Standards provides office administration support for the Director, Cabin Safety and Training and their team. The incumbent must be customer-service oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks in a changing environment. They will be responsible for responding to general questions (using the tools and procedures in place), preparing reports, and assisting with the preparation, planning and organization of the various trainings and manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for instructors and users of Learning Management System (LMS) and other training tools (Pelesys, ProntoForms, eCrew, etc.)
  • Receive, screen, and redistribute telephone calls, emails, and mail
  • Maintain department supplies and intranet content
  • Organization (including translation, layout, production, etc.) of manuals and communication
  • Documentation control (technical files, manuals, bulletins, etc.)
  • Collaborate with various suppliers and partners
  • Department invoicing and billing
  • Organization of meetings and team travel arrangements
  • Any other duties related to training and cabin standards.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • College diploma or equivalent
  • 3-year minimum experience in a similar position
  • Bilingual (French and English) spoken and written
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills and capacity to worked under pressure
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative and resourcefulness
  • Consummate team player
  • Asset: Previous work experience in aviation
