Under the guidance of the revenue manager, the Senior Revenue Management Analyst oversees a group of routes revenue management and ensures budgetary objectives are met for these routes.
Responsibilities
- Management ofassigned group of routes to maximize their revenue by using appropriate levers and market knowledge.
- Ensure completion of weekly workflows in accordance with business processes.
- Analyze booking patterns to identify revenue opportunities and risks in a constantly evolving environment.
- Obtain and keep up to date a strong knowledge and detailed understanding of customer booking behavior and willingness to pay.
- Calibration of RM System inputs to reflect recent changes in the environment.
- Validation of RM System outputs to ensure continued alignment with market expectations and strategies.
- Conduct appropriate monitoring and close evaluation of key performance indicators and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Proactively and effectively communicate findings and the tactical/strategic action applied.
- Work closely with Pricingteam to ensure market strategy coherence.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes and work methods of the department.
- Participate in the development of analytical and decision support tools.
- Act as a mentor or trainer to analysts and junior analysts.
- Become the subject matter expert for RMtools and train its peers during continuous development and/or on boarding of new members.
