Job Description:

The Technical Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, screening, and conducting initial interviews with specialized TS/SCI-cleared cyber and information operations, potential employees.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; review job descriptions for vacancies
  • Research, recommend, and execute technical recruiting strategies
  • Stay up to date on recruiting research and best practices
  • Screen candidates resume and job qualifications and make recommendations to the hiring manager
  • Conduct initial interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within the schedule
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes regarding specialized job roles
  • Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  • Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job boards, colleges, and other reliable sources
  • Provide advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates
  • Attend jobs fairs, industry conferences, and trade shows; run company booth at job fairs; may be required to host job fairs
  • Administer human resources policies and procedures that pertain to recruiting and selection
  • Process paperwork for functional areas according to established procedures
  • Travel may be required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Experience in recruiting Cyber Security and/or IT is required
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience including at least two (2) in government contracting is preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance ability. TS/SCI clearance a plus
  • Experience in sourcing candidates from multiple platforms. Creativity is a must.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment with rapidly changing demands
  • Must have strong math, writing, and communication skills
  • Must be able to use sound judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Must be detail-oriented, with exceptional problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Must be self-motivated, energetic, and able to partner effectively with the HR team and leadership to gain their respect and trust
  • Must be able to hold yourself and others accountable for a high level of performance and integrity
  • Must be able to work in a challenging environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged
  • Must be willing to work extended hours per day or per week, including weekends and/or holidays if necessary to meet business needs
  • Strong experience in Applicant tracking systems
