This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the F-35 at Patuxent River. As a team member you will be involved in maintaining all aspects of the aircraft to include F-35 scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft modification, inspection, wire repair, and troubleshooting.
Basic Qualifications:
3-5 years broad hands-on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or USMC MOS Avionics Systems Craftsman discipline or equivalent commercial experience such an FAA instrumentation license.

Experience with all facets of wire/connector repair, to include evaluation and testing.

Experience with reading/interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions.

Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions and Aircraft Forms Documentation.

Experience with Safety, Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
Desired Skills:
F-35/F-22 experience highly desirable.
Previous flight test aircraft maintenance experience
Aircraft Instrumentation electrical systems desired.
Coax troubleshooting/repair
Advanced test equipment proficiency
Data-bus knowledge and troubleshooting
Fiber Optic Experience
JEDI Experience
Excellent communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
