Job Description:

This position supports the Armed Overwatch program. Performs installation, maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and regulations.

Essential Functions:

  • Installs, tests, troubleshoots and repairs aircraft avionics and electrical system components in accordance with testing, engineering, maintenance and installation directives
  • Conducts diagnosis of malfunctions
  • Troubleshoots, repairs and services aircraft and engine systems
  • Maintains required regulation records, manuals and inspection forms

Requirements:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to work overtime/weekends as needed
  • Four years 145 Repair Station experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Airframe & Powerplant license preferred
  • Experience with standard electrical termination processes and tooling i.e. DMC, TE
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Electrical and structural experience
  • Security Clearance is desired
  • Experience with Microsoft Office ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
