Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs preventive maintenance, modifications, inspections, and repairs to fixed or rotary wing aircraft, using specialized equipment, in accordance with appropriate federal aviation regulations, manufacturer's recommendations, technical manuals, and/or Government/Industry Standards.
  • Maintains a comprehensive record system of all maintenance work performed on each system to comply with the component mandates of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), DoD, AS9100 Quality Management System, and/or the manufacturer.
  • We are looking for individuals that will thrive in a challenging project-based environment with a charter of providing state of the art capabilities to legacy aerospace systems.

Job Requirements:
  • Fabricate, assemble, repair, modify, test, operate, and troubleshoot avionics/electrical modules, components, and wire harnesses
  • Install wires and electrical components into electrical modules and assemblies per engineering drawings and specifications
  • Aerospace mechanical component manufacturing, assembly, and installation
  • Willing to travel for Contract Field Teams
  • Assist Engineers in understanding manufacturing processing techniques to assist in design and creation of parts.
  • Perform Quality Assurance functions in support of AS9100D requirements.

In addition, the ability to climb ladders, stoop, bend, be on your feet for extended periods of time, and lift and/or carry items weighing over 50lbs is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have 5 years aircraft avionics or electrician work experience
  • Must have general knowledge of manufacturing and engineering environments including product configuration, manufacturing principles, concepts, and practices.
  • Must have exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. A current Secret clearance is a plus.
