Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of inspection duties relating to overhaul and repair of engines or components.
- Perform NDT functions on engine components using the FPI, MPI, Ultrasonic and/or X-ray and Eddy Current inspection techniques. Ability to read, understand, and work to technical instructions.
- Use a variety of instruments and gauges, use good judgment, and work with minimum direction.
- Perform duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Must be able to meet color vision requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required due to government contracts
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience with NDT inspection methods
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 year technical degree
- Experience in NDT processes of FPI, MPI, Ultrasonic, X-ray and Eddy Current
- Current level II certification
- Prior experience working on gas turbine engines
Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
