Position Summary
We are immediately seeking a Subject Matter Expert to join our motivated Advanced Capabilities and Expert Solutions (ACES) Division and support the Software Engineering Department Services Solicitation (SEDSS) team with an E-2 focus in the Patuxent River, MD area.
The ACES Division supports Tactical Air's mission by delivering world-class military aviation training, products, and support. As part of ACES, SEDSS (E-2) is responsible for supporting aircraft, mission, and support system software development, including operational systems and integration and related activities such as systems engineering, testing, configuration management, and program performance assessments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Software developers to create software requirements and associated documentation
- Participate in software release test documentation, scenario development, and test tool adjustment
- Attend Agile team meetings (Team Scrum, Sprint Kick-off, Sprint Planning)
- Work with Original Equipment Manufacturer on software integration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline; combination of background, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degree
- Minimum of eight years as an E-2 aircrew
- Familiarity and expertise with E-2 mission planning and training systems
- Travel (20%) required to various work sites throughout the U.S.
- Valid state driver's license
- U.S. Citizenship with a current and active Secret clearance, with TS/SCI eligibility.
Desired Experience/Skills
- Advanced degree preferred.
- SAP program eligibility is advantageous.
- Extensive operational Carrier Airwing experience and graduate-level credentials in E-2 employment, instruction, and/or flight test.
- Experience with various operational squadrons, training squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellence
- Familiarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to conduct professional, in-person training to large and small groups of aircrew with varied experience levels
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects

- Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form
