Mission :

Within the Engineering Directorate, you will integrate the Flight Technologies department. In a small and dynamic team of engineers, a strong teamwork is requested to answer to the various challenges around flight and ground loads for ATR products. The global objective is to support the in-service ATR aircraft, to provide the loads contributions to the current developments and also to contribute to the preparation of ATR product evolution towards a greener and more efficient aircraft.

All this takes place in an environment continuously challenging your autonomy and adaptability, and your innovative spirit on how to continuously conciliate available means, current expectations and history of the ATR design.

As a Loads engineer, you will work on various topics in the field of ground and flight loads. Your main activities will be :

  • Perform Flight and ground loads analysis in the context of a development (modification) or future projects.
  • Deliver to the stress department the activities schedule and the format of the loads data
  • Analyze some fleet in service events associated with possible overloads (hard landing, in-flight turbulence…) to determine if the design loads have been exceeded.
  • Provide subcontractor with task forms and follow budget consumption.  
  • Test methods and in-house tools around loads computation

Profile:

  • Master’s degree or engineering diploma in aeronautics.
  • Experience of 1 years in the domain of the structural ground or flight loads
  • Basic knowledge in the analysis of in-service incident
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft design
  • Willingness to work with several disciplines, to be collaborative
  • Curiosity, willingness to grow and learn every day
  • Ability to adapt
  • Ability to present technical results
  • Fluent English,
  • French at least moderate, fluent is a plus
  • Programming skills in Python
  • Pilot license would be a plus.
