We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer with a Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering or related Engineering field. As an aerospace engineer, you will research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and improve cutting edge products and services. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft . Youll develop complex aerodynamic components, structures, and systems. Your technical duties involve the design and development, analysis, and test of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle. Aerospace engineers are responsible for generating external loads, aircraft performance estimates, stability and control assessments, and other efforts that involve fluid dynamics analysis through the use of handbook methods, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and/or test data reduction (flight test data and wind tunnel data).

Must-haves:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or other related discipline and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Preferred:
- Background in Project Management
- Comfortable reviewing information from various engineering disciplines outside of your specialty
- Prior experience with FAA Certification Standards (14 CFR Part 23, 25, 27, 29) and/or Military certification (MIL-HDBK-516) programs
- Experience coordinating certification approvals with the FAA Aircraft Certification Office, ODAs, Delegated Engineering Representatives (DERs)/Unit Members or other certifying authorities
- Experience with reading, reviewing and interpreting technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
- Familiarity with aircraft flight test

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $79,264.96 - $108,989.32. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
