Boeing Global Services is seeking Systems Engineer & Data Management Specialist (Mid-Level) to become part of the Aviation Business Consulting Optimized Maintenance Programs (OMP) team in Seattle, Washington. The OMP team offers customer unique optimized maintenance solutions providing great value to global commercial and military Customers.  The team leads a challenging revenue growth path; with focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Execute Optimized Maintenance Program (OMP) revenue contracts by using technical, engineering, and aviation knowledge.  Includes global commercial and military aircraft operators.  Utilize Boeing Program Management Best Practices. Interface with management and Customers.
  • Maintain technical currency with Boeing Fleet Scheduled Maintenance Programs and maintenance industry policy groups.  Maintain technical currency with Boeing Design and Certification programs, ensuring Safety and Quality of OMP products and support of customer regulatory approvals.  Participate in discussions with Customers and Regulators supporting OMP regulatory approval. 
  • Provide constructive technical input on OMP products; respective of quality and growth of product offerings.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 3 &43; years of engineering experience
  • 2 &43; years of experience in developing aircraft maintenance programs and/or MSG-3 analysis
  • Experience in a role requiring strong analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3&43; years experience with airline maintenance programs and practices
  • 3&43; years of experience with statistical analysis as well as data analytics techniques for large data sets
  • 3&43; years of experience with aircraft maintenance regulatory requirements
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with diverse stakeholder needs
  • 1&43; years of experience with knowledge of commercial and commercial derivative aircraft, maintenance processes, policies, culture, and standard practices (e.g., return to service, normal duties/responsibilities, time constraints, available resources).
  • 1&43; years of experience applying statistical analysis

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master&43;3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary Pay Range Mid-Level (Level 3): $104,550- $141,450
