Boeing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wire Design Engineer to join our P-8 Increment 3 Block 2 program in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you assist in the integration and modification of aircraft wiring for the P-8 platform, with a focus on supporting the INC 3 Block 2 modification program. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and technical subject matter experts to ensure superior capability and performance of the aircraft. Responsibilities:
Provide support for the modification, troubleshooting, and resolution of wire routing and installation issues for the P-8 aircraft, focusing on the I3B2 modification program
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and assess I3B2 program modification performance to ensure seamless mod incorporation onto the aircraft platform with particular focus on optimization of wire routing and installation
Support troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve test failures during the modification program
Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and technical contractors to diagnose wiring issues, define technical solutions, and communicate progress and updates related to aircraft modifications and support
Collaborate with the engineering team to provide guidance during modification planning and execution phases
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
5&43; years of experience in wire design, wire installation or in working with electrical equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience working on P-8 Increment 3 Block 2 (I3B2) or similar modification programs
Familiarity with technical aspects of the 737 and/or P-8 platform and its wire design
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master&43;3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range: $97,750 – $132,250
