As a Sr Director Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations. You will provide strategic direction, lead a team of talented engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, drive innovation, and achieve operational excellence.

You will report directly to our Sr Director Advanced Manufacturing Engineer and youll work out of our Richardson,/Houston,TX, Charlotte, NC, or Chicago, IL location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the growth and success of our organization by driving innovation, operational excellence, and cost efficiencies in our manufacturing operations. By optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, you will enhance productivity, improve product quality, and drive customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for advanced manufacturing engineering initiatives
    Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to drive innovation and operational excellence
  • Build and develop a team of engineers to revolutionize how we launch new products, standardize new product innovation processes across several Industrial Automation businesses
  • Develop relationships and drive collaboration with Research and Development and Chief Technology Officers to drive development of products that are designed for manufacturability, scalability and automation
  • Lead site selection and global supply chain strategies for new product production in alignment with the Honeywell Industrial Automation Manufacturing Strategy
  • Leverage Lean and Automation to Optimize manufacturing processes and enhance productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Identify and implement cutting-edge technologies to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiencies
  • Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members

 

US PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE

    •   Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
    •   Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization
    •   Proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence in manufacturing operations
    •   Strong leadership and people management skills
    •   Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    •   Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
    •   Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

    •   Experience successfully leading factories, manufacturing operations for discrete industrial products, global supply chains and leading lean transformations.
