Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer. In this role, you will assist in ensuring IT systems are maintained up to date with security patches and removal of critical vulnerabilities, review current system configurations for compliance, and assist in efforts to improve overall lab security. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- System administration experience with Linux and/or Windows Systems (both Desktop and Server).
-Experience with network appliance configurations and settings.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and best practices.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
- Security+ Certification (required within 6 months of start)
- Basic knowledge of DOD cybersecurity requirements.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
