This position is for an Associate Manager leading the Hardware Processors Team. This leadership position will report to the Fort Worth Hardware Processors Team Manager. The Associate Manager will perform leadership duties that include: Performance appraisals, staffing, budgets, training oversight, mentoring, career guidance, and dealing with employee performance. This role will manage a diverse team of engineers supporting multiple platforms.

Candidate must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills and exhibit a proactive, problem solving, cost conscious and company-focused mindset.

Must have presentation skills and be able to convey focused messages to internal senior leadership and external customers.

Candidate must possess secret clearance.

- Experience working with avionics, and hardware/software integration.

- Experience working with suppliers/customers.

- Experience in subsystem development, integration, and test.

- Experience working with subcontractors.

- Leadership and team-building skills. Effective communication skills. Must be comfortable briefing peers, leadership, and internal/external customers.

- Candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead and coach people with a focus on development & learning.

- Individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communications / organizational skills and have the ability to analyze complex issues.

- Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of Culture of Accountability methodologies.

- Demonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) behaviors

- Experience in identification of workforce gaps; i.e. skills, tools, organizational structure, etc.

- Ability to understand and deploy strategies around risk mitigation

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
