The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Defense Logistics Agency Support Programs (DLASP) Finance organization has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst in Hazelwood, MO.

The Senior Financial Analyst will contribute to the successful execution of the Boeing Captains of Industry (BCOI) Logistics contracts with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer. These contracts are unique Fixed Price Incentive (FPI) arrangements that include a Material Availability Metric, a Demand Band Clause, a monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Process (SIOP) forecast, and requires Supply Chain Inventory management. These are dynamic programs with opportunities to interface with Program Management, Supply Chain, Contracts, Material Cost Analysis, Estimating and Senior Leadership, offering a significant development opportunity with excellent functional & cross-functional visibility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the financial advisor to the BCOI program managers, leading the program team to complete budget baselines and successfully manage program performance
  • Develops and briefs quarterly financial estimates at complete (EACs), including Major EACs, to senior levels of management. This task includes detailed analysis and incorporation of program status on contract metrics
  • Participates in monthly cross-functional working group Sales, Inventory & Operations Process (SIOP) and perform in depth analysis to ensure the procurement plan is maintained within budget and that material is procured in an efficient/affordable manner
  • Develops Monthly budget distribution following Sales, Inventory & Operations Process approved order releases
  • Prepares Long Range Business Plans (LRBP) and forecast inputs including expenditures and receipts analysis, and risks and opportunities analysis of contract performance
  • Prepares Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL’s) such as the Quarterly Limitation of Payments (QLOP) and cost summary Data Reports (CSDR) as applicable
  • Provides detailed and high priority support to internal and external auditors with Deloitte and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management)
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel application, including formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, and filters
  • Ability to work in virtual/hybrid and in office setting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Estimates of Completion (EACs), forecasting, resource planning, and cost management systems
  • Experience with one of more of the following financial systems: Cost, Schedule, Planning and Reporting (CSPR), Enterprise Planning and Analysis System (EPAS)
  • Experience presenting and communicating and data in Senior Leadership briefings

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $99,450 – $121,095
