Job Description SummaryThe Supply Chain Finance ERP Leader will collaborate across all stake-holding organizations to execute the Engines Modernization charter of modernizing and improving the ERP/digital systems execution, structure, and experience for internal manufacturing sites. This role will engage with our supply chain users and partner with DT to shift transactional inventory, ordering and manufacturing execution to a modern set of systems. Functional areas may include: Item creation, BOM management, material planning, material consumption, product cost, and reporting.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

•           Function as a subject matter expert in materials planning, fulfillment and/or manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities and developing processes

•           Lead and contribute to the improvement of supply chain planning, manufacturing, and procurement processes

•           Lead, engage with, and advocate for the supply chain user base

•           Use process improvement methodologies, expertise, and judgement to creatively address complicated and/or interdependent processes, develop execution plans and communicate benefits/risk

•           Collaborate with the DT organization to develop solutions to support the manufacturing user community

•           Collaborate with Controllership and Government Accounting to ensure new processes/solutions are compliant within GE and with government agencies

•           Actively participate in system design & testing sessions to ensure solutions to meet short-term objectives and long-term goals

•           Be a change accelerator - Form and retain stakeholder teams, bring team members to consensus and navigation cross functionally

•           Contribute to updates or update GE policies that will be impacted by the process changes as part of the Engines Modernization solutions

Desired skills/background

•          ERP experience – prior experience with Oracle financials and supply chain (inventory, manufacturing, procurement)

•          Site finance experience – prior experience working in Finance at a manufacturing site preferred

•          Demonstrated experience analyzing and optimizing business processes

•          Government accounting knowledge

•          Prior Data warehouse/reporting experience

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
