Dumont Aviation is a dynamic, fast-growing FAA Part 145 and Part 135 company with locations in New Castle, Delaware and Bloomington, Illinois. Our company specializes in the charter, management, maintenance, and sale of corporate aircraft. Dumont Aviation’s robust fleet of twenty five aircraft fly both domestically and internationally. Dumont Aviation is currently seeking a full-time Corporate Flight Attendant who will be based in the New Castle, Delaware area. The position will involve up to eighteen days of work per month.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Confirm the visual standards of the aircraft interior are met and the plane is properly stocked to accommodate the needs and any special requests of our clients prior to departure
  • Greet and provide assistance to passengers as they board the plane, creating a positive first impression for our clients
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers throughout the flight by providing food, beverages, and general assistance throughout the flight
  • Ensure emergency equipment is maintained and in a response ready state and in the unlikely event of an emergency, instruct and assist passengers in the use of emergency equipment 
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, diplomacy, and professional demeanor before, during, and after the flight
  • Adhere to both company and FAA standards at all times while representing the corporation in any setting
  • Assist in setting and maintaining visual standards for the fleet and conduct routine quality control audits of the appearance of the interior of the aircraft
  • Source and purchase required stock for the fleet and ensure appropriate back-up stock levels are maintained in a tidy and organized fashion 
  • Other duties as needed
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
  • Previous flight attendant experience is required
  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to think ahead and proactively anticipate and meet needs 
  • Attitude of service and strong desire to assist, no matter how big or small the request is
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Maintain flexible availability for work schedule
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • Must have necessary personal documentation to travel internationally with no restrictions
