Dumont Aviation is a dynamic, fast-growing FAA Part 145 and Part 135 company with locations in New Castle, Delaware and Bloomington, Illinois. Our company specializes in the charter, management, maintenance, and sale of corporate aircraft. Dumont Aviation’s robust fleet of twenty-five aircraft fly both domestically and internationally. Dumont Aviation is currently seeking a full time Aircraft Interior Technician who will be based in the New Castle, Delaware area.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Remove old aircraft interior and prepare aircraft for partial or full interior refurbishment
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft interior, including, but not limited to upholstery, carpet, cabinetry, panels, lighting, and other furnishings
  • Repair routine issues with aircraft interior in a prompt manner in order to return aircraft to service on-time
  • Listen to customer requirements, and complete repairs, upgrades, and refurbishments in line with customer specifications
  • Fabricate interior aircraft parts with standard sheet metal, and composite repair techniques
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment and comply with all company safety protocols
  • Understand and comply with all FAA rules and regulations
  • Assist Interior Supervisor in full range of design requirements
  • Perform other duties as required
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of interiors or similar experience required
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and positive attitude
  • Organized and possess good time management skills
  • Must have ability to interact with a wide variety of clientele
  • Proven proficiency in drafting and computer assisted design programs
  • Ability to think critically and communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to work independently
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in soft goods
