What YOU will do:

As the inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our aircrafts optimal performance and reliability, responsible for the initial inspection and surveillance of commercial-type aircraft undergoing maintenance and repair.  Youll work with a dynamic team of skilled inspectors overseeing the inspection of commercial-type aircraft while maintaining our state-of-the-art equipment. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the effectiveness and reliability of our customers Aircraft while remaining in compliance with all FAA policies and regulations.

 

  • Comply with initial inspection of commercial type aircraft using customer provide work instructions.
  • Inspect and accept or reject all required inspection items and non-routine work accomplished on commercial type aircraft.
  • Inspect aircraft and components utilizing special tooling and equipment.  
  • Perform weight and balance functions on commercial type aircraft and complete calculations.
  • Audit aircraft maintenance work packages.
  • Inspect and report findings on facility inspections.
  • Maintain work performed on O.J.T. forms for the training department.

 

What YOU need:

  • High school diploma or GED required.  FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification required.
  • Five (5) years minimum experience in heavy commercial and or military maintenance and/or six months skill level 3 mechanic. 
  • Recorded training on at least three (3) type aircraft. GENERAL FAMILIARIZATION TRAINING (Preferred): MD-11, B737NG, A320, B747, B777 or B787.
  • Minimum two (2) years inspection experience.
