Description:Performs a variety of operations to manufacture and fabricate sheet metal and extrusion parts. Sets-up and operates one or more of the following varieties of machine tools: shears, brake press, routers, drill press, saws, roll formers, water jets, shapers, NC Punch, Stack routers, punch press, Hydro press, and hand formers. Displays ability to plan, layout, interpret blueprints, sketches to all engineering specifications; determine sequence of operations, number of required cuts and method of setup. Uses a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Makes standard shop calculations relating to dimensions of work tooling, feeds and speeds. May monitor and verify quality with statistical process or other control procedures. May input data as required to assist with NC Programming. Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience of CNC mills, or routers, or brake and/or roll press.
Experience with drill, route, and saw. Must be able to read and fabricate to blue prints specifications.
Able to demonstrate and perform lay-out of sheet metal and extrusion parts.
Must be willing to operate a variety of machines based on work load requirements
Desired Skills:
3 + years in metal fabrication is desired.
Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, manipulate data.
Must be a team player, have the ability to multi-task and get along with other team members, the desire to learn and accept several fabrication job functions. Must exhibit a genuine desire to achieve team goals. A positive attitude and dependability is a must for this position.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
