POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of the role is to oversee the entire Logistics warehouse operations, import export trade control which includes organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods, classification of material, taxes / duties & ITAR control. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Americas EMEA APAC are the HUBs for Warehouse distribution of parts for Commercial, Executive and Defense.
  • Reset the culture of work for objectives and metrics.
  • Incorporate new tool (Salesforce, GTS, SAP) to measure performance across the Logistic process (inbound, warehouse efficiency, outbound, cost reduction, on time delivery and other)
  • Strategic plan 2025. Run and participate in a global bid process in order to define a new HUB for EMEA in coordination with other Logistic leaders.
  • As head of global logistics to management, and to ensure accomplishment of Corporate Strategic Goals (finance and operations) with Global Logistics Providers ensure full all contractor, key KPI transportation and propose change the way we manage and control, in order to capture opportunities and cost reduction through a better management process.
  • Implement system integrated dashboard targeting improve efficiency in Logistics and warehouse operations in order to exceed customers’ expectations.
  • Be responsible and accountable for Trade control / Export control of controlled items
  • Vendors performance management (3rd party warehouse operations, freight forwarding companies)
  • Control and monitor supplier’s payment avoiding service interruption
  • Track & trace parts delivery to final customers
  • Control export licenses for Defense markets and customers.
  • 3PL Warehouse operations with efficiency and safe environment without accidents.
  • Act with sense of urgency when required by customer or contact center.
  • Manage the performance of warehousing services by third party providers (adequate and timely receiving, shipping, inventory control, and respective reporting) and warehouses managed by Embraer through process alignments and SLAs in coordination with Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Manage and ensure optimized warehouse costs and 3PL payments according to contracted prices
  • Lead and Implement improvement projects to assure optimized physical layout of warehouses, tight oversight of customer brokers and accurate logistical visibility of pool items, lean paperless processes, accurate regulatory compliance processes, and efficient core (unserviceable part) process at the warehouse
  • Manages the quality of components during receiving, warehousing, and shipping making sure Embraer Quality Procedures are followed and executed accordingly
  • Manage contracted transportation services (air, ground, domestic, international, in and outbound, customs aspects) using performance and cost reports and periodic review meetings.
  • Manage and execute process to meet quality assurance and support auditing processes by various internal and external bodies (SOX, Financial, Internal Controls, ISO, Internal Quality, P3E).
  • Manage and ensure all parts are storage following ANAC, FAA, EASA requirements with proper airworthiness certificate
  • Ensure delivery performance of parts to customers in conjunction with priority of order placed by Contact Center
  • Responsible for ensuring the excellence on Materials and Logistic Operations, for US territory, through the management of inventory accuracy with prompt service 24x7, seeking excellence in customer relationship.
  • Ensure that the control tower targets and process KPIs for the cells under material support (warehouse operations, repair management, material services, supply chain, Spare Parts Planning and Price, SJK Parts) are met, assuring positive results in customer satisfaction, financial returns, and employee satisfaction/retention.
  • Manages productivity (effectiveness/efficacy) and the organizational results for the area.
  • Serve as liaison to customer teams to develop systems to support logistics programs.
  • Partners with key cross-functional partners to seek customer and associate feedback to identify program improvement opportunities for implementation.
  • Plans and oversees the flow of goods for international and domestic traffic.
  • Calculates duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported and imported.
  • Oversees preparation of documents such as letters of credit, filing tariffs, bills of lading, license agreements, and other correspondence; coordinates other paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with tariffs and customs regulations.
  • Serves as a liaison between agents, brokers, banks, shippers, and warehouse facilities.
  • Expedites shipping of goods into and out of the country.
  • Resolves customs delays + Customs regimens.
  • Conducting audits of suppliers or business partners to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Manage importation of LCL and FCL shipments via air, ocean and express services.
  • Manage Airfreight import/export with airlines and couriers.
  • Investigates potential risk and other matters of significance and provides solutions.
  • Analyzes and evaluates design concepts and integration support requirements to determine if concepts satisfy support requirements.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration or equivalent required
  • Hold a Green Lean belt certification

Experience:

  • 10+ years working in supply chain, global logistics, trade compliance and industrial logistics.
