SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

This position is responsible for managing the activities of the Facilities department and the Tool Rooms to ensure the operation and maintenance of all Facilities, GSE and Tooling equipment are safe and fully operational for day-to-day usage.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION

1. Valid driver s license

a. Driver s License is Always required. Any loss of driver s license is an immediate termination.

2. Self-motivating: much of the work will be performed unsupervised and self-motivation will be required to complete the work on schedule.

3. Experienced in Facilities management.

4. Experienced in Aircraft Tooling.

5. Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS AND DUTIES

2. Safety Requirements

a. Work safely and follow all client and OSHA safety requirements.

b. Must learn and follow client and OSHA Safety Program and other company Procedures.

3. Facilities Maintenance

a. Scheduling and maintaining the safe operation of the Facilities hangar Fire Suppression System to include quarterly, annual inspections. This responsibility requires communication with Senior Leadership, communication with the Fire Marshall, Airport operations, as well as the contractual agreement with the servicing Vendor,

b. Building Maintenance functions and upkeep to include electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, Building Compressors, Grounds Maintenance.

c. Keep up and maintain annual inspections as specified in our lease agreement. Ensure reporting is provided to the Tampa International Airport Commercial real estate office annually.

d. Collaborating with upper management on budgeting for facilities needs.

4. GSE Maintenance functions are to safely maintain and repair all GSE equipment for daily operations. This includes vehicles, push back tugs, Bag tugs, Jacks, Forklifts, Scissor lifts, Boom Lifts, Entry stands, tail dock stations and other equipment as assigned.

5. Tooling Functions are to include and not limited to:

a. Manage the inventory of on-hand tools, etc.

b. Maintaining records of tools and equipment while providing weekly reports of new tools.

c. Continually organizing tool cribs storage areas for better tool management and organization.

d. Inspect tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually inspect tooling that requires periodic checks.

e. Ensure all tooling is properly marked for identification and tracking,

f. Manage the pulling and staging of tools for weekly calibration, Creating Repair orders for calibrated tools to be received back in once calibration is complete.

g. Sourcing and creating requests for purchasing new tools to replace damaged or BER tooling.

6. Updating the company ERP system with required certs and forms for each tool that is in stock.

7. Have the ability to read and understand customers AMM.

8. Ability to read and understand tooling drawings.

9. Help with basic maintenance of tools or machine equipment --- lubricating, cleaning, basic maintenance, etc.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

Feilding phone calls for Facilities and Tooling requests.

Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

1. Ability to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods.

2. Ability to perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time.

3. Ability to climb ladders and stairs in performing the work.

4. Ability to crawl in confined spaces on the hands and knees to perform work.

5. Knowledge of use of protective equipment and safety protocol related to the possible exposure to dust, body fluids, radiation, chemicals, fumes, vapors, or mists that could potentially affect the health of the employee.

6. Ability to withstand exposure to constant or intermittent loud noise levels.

7. Ability to have close vision or clear vision at 20 inches or less.

8. Ability to have distance vision or clear vision at 20 feet or more.

9. Ability to determine colors – to identify and distinguish colors and shades.

10. Must be able to handle and maintain control of small parts and to properly operate hand tools.
