Job Description
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100 of the time

The Material Planner is responsible for supporting a team of Material planners in executing a set manufacturing plan for one or more programs.
Ensures material that is forecasted and on order is available on time to meet the build plan.
The planner may be responsible for releasing work to the manufacturing floor for build, help to coordinate material to meet ship dates and customer commitments while working with other support staff to execute the plan.
This person will be responsible for performing health check reports such as -- Revision maintenance, on time delivery status, Bill of material accuracy, planner codes, Negative FGI/Op 950 reports, Oracle data, etc.
This person will partake and help in inventory audits and occasionally perform cycle counts.
Communication across multiple business functions is required -- business areas include but not limited to Finance, Program offices, Engineering, and other manufacturing functions (Stockroom, operators, Production control)


Job Requirements:
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other operating systems such as Oracle, PowerBI, and Apex
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment with interactions across cross-functional disciplines.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Ability to take direction and work autonomously to execute tasks.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $43700 - $74300
