Material Handler Level 1 – 2

  1. Safely Operates Forklift and Load & Unload Material
  2. Thoroughly Review Packing Slips
  3. Ensure final product is delivered to Inspection
  4. Perform Daily Forklift Checkup
  5. Ensure Part & Material Handling is done to meet Quality and Safety standards
  6. Visually Inspect and validate serial numbers & Verify Product Count
  7. Deliver all documentation to OSP receiver
  8. Ensures parts have been prepped for Shipping
  9. Strong communication with OSP Buyer to understand daily/weekly plan
  10. Understand all material sizes and processes (Heat Treat, Machining, NDT)
  11. Manage and pull material from Inventory
  12. Responsible for area Cleanliness/Organization (6S)
  13. Troubleshoot traceability issues
  14. Support all production areas when needed
  15. Model culture in a positive manner
  16. Proactively manage OSP incoming and outgoing work
  17. Actively looks for process improvement opportunities
  18. Train employees in department as needed

Required education / experience:

  • High school / GED or Technical College degree
  • 0-5+ years’ experience for level 1
  • 5+ years’ experience for level 2

Requirements

  • Must be able to move/lift/pull up to 35 lbs (may not exceed per EHS Policies)
  • Ability to operate forklift and other mobile equipment in a safe manner
  • Report all incidents to management immediately
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $18 to $24 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 160 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
