Cal-Ore Life Flight offers full service, Advanced Life Support (ALS), 24 hour, emergency ground and air transport. Cal-Ore's seven (6) aircraft transport patients to destinations throughout California, Oregon and other bordering states as authorized by the sending physician. Cal-Ore's eight (8) ALS ambulances respond to more than 3,000 911 calls annually. Since inception, Cal-Ore has responded to over 50,000 air and ground ambulance calls.

Cal-Ore Life Flight is accepting resumes for a qualified A&P Maintenance Technician to fill a position at our Crescent City, CA base.
Live and work on the beautiful Northern California / Southern Oregon coast!
 
Our Maintenance Technicians use their strong troubleshooting abilities to ensure that our aircraft are in safe and airworthy condition. We rely on them to conduct daily airworthiness inspections to include correcting discrepancies found and returning aircraft to service. With a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and 2 or more years A&P Mechanic experience performing general aviation maintenance, our Maintenance Technicians are highly relied upon to get the job done!
Job Requirements:
This 40 hour per week position requires:
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
• 2 or more years A&P mechanic experience performing general aviation aircraft maintenance required.
• Experience working under CFR Parts 135 and 145 mechanic ratings preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting ability on airframe and engine, including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic.
• Twin turbine aircraft experience a real plus.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks independently and with no supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of liability insurance.
• Basic computer skills, familiar with Windows.
Entails exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions, may be exposed to loud aircraft noise, fumes, gasses, odors, dust particles and mechanical/electrical and chemical hazards.
