Job Description:

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for A&P MECHANICS, STRUCTURES & AVIONICS in BRIDGEPORT, WV.

Responsibilities:

As a A&P Technician, you will be required to:

Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on aircraft.
Must be airframe certificated; airframe and powerplant certification.
Documents all work performed per regulations as required.
Should demonstrate ability to train other employees/contractors.
Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

As a Structures Technician, you will be required to:

Remove/install aircraft components as required.
Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached.
Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures and aircraft component repair.
Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft.
Perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations as required.
Inspect confined areas of airframe and assist in providing time estimates as required.
Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

As an Avionics Technician, you will be required to:

Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment.
Document all work performed per regulations as required.
Should demonstrate ability to read/understand electrical engineering drawings.

Job Requirements:

A&P Mechanic Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

Structures Technician Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of structural sheet metal repair / modification experience or substantiated similar experience.
Minimum of 1 year of corporate / commercial jet experience.
Completed Sheetmetal A/C Tech school or equivalent Training.
FAA A&P license OR “A” license is strongly preferred.
Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written) aircraft status.
Demonstrated ability to train other employees is preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

Avionics Technician Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience, including but not limited to troubleshooting, build ups and modifications.
Fixed wing experience required.
Airframe License or A&P License is preferred.
Tools must be etched and must be available to work any shift.
Criminal Background Check required.
Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening and background checks mandatory.
