Job Summary:
We have a rare opportunity for a Tech Support (A&P Mechanic) in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Tech Support (A&P Mechanic), you will perform a variety of the following duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment.
- Conducting technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications.
- Manage technical products, Services, logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers.
- You may also troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications.
- You will proudly serve as a local on-site RTX representative to the customer's organization, managing statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements.
- Travel is required and is based on current business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree OR another 2-year post-high school training and with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience - Inspection of Engine parts Refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs and return to service of engines, or modules and components
- Airframe & Powerplant License
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred Qualifications:
- Shop/bench refurbishment experience
- P&WC-powered Airframe experience
- A degree in Aviation Maintenance Management preferred
- Prior PT6, PW100, and PW500 shop and field experience is a plus
- Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience - rigging, R&I, MRP's, aircraft interface
- Customer service skills
