Aerotek Aviation is looking for qualified aircraft assemblers to join one of the leading aviation companies in the country. We are offering competitive pay, flexible shifts, and competitive benefits.
Job Description:
- Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures.
- Perform Varied drilling and riveting operations.
- Rivet structural assemblies using numerous tools including: Portable rivet guns, pneumatic guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, rivets, ETC)
- Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, size, specs, and patterns.
Qualifications:
- Required two years related structural assembly, mechanics, or relevant mechanical experience.
- Must be able to use various hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
- No Aviation experience required.
- Highschool Diploma/ GED equivalent.
Work Environment/ Shift:
- Must be open to shift (1st, 2nd, Weekend Available)
- PPE Required (Steel Toe Boots, Ear Plugs, Protective Eye wear)
- Climate controlled manufacturing environment
