Responsibilities of Aircraft Assembler include but are not limited to:
 
Mechanics are responsible for timely and accurate assembly of assigned product(s) that meet(s) current configuration as defined by engineering, and doing so in a timely manner.Progression between levels is predicated on time and performance as determined by Management and/or HR.
 
Minimum Job Requirements of Aircraft Assembler
 
High School or GED equivalent/previous experience desired. Must be authorized to work in the United States. International Traffic in Arms Regulation/Export Administration Regulations (ITARE/EAR) clearance is required
Job Requirements:
Other Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required for Aircraft Assembler
Must be present and able to work as required by assigned position/shift/etc.Able to interpret assembly instructions (i.e. Installation Plans (IP’s), work orders, engineering drawings/models, etc.) to enable production of parts consistent with current engineering configuration.Able to use tools and techniques as required by their assigned work cell.Must understand the deliverables as defined by their supervision.Able to distinguish quality characteristics as it relates to assigned builds so that a quality part is presented to QA.Must be able to work cooperatively in a team environment.Must have a personal focus on quality with a clear understanding of escapement risk and potential impact to product.
 
Physical Requirements Aircraft Assembler
This position requires effective performance of one or more of the following functions, with or without reasonable accommodation:
Effective use of telephone and/or other applicable electronic communication equipment.View and read documents, and computer monitors.Verbal and/or written communication with team members and/or management.Position will generally require sitting/standing for prolonged periods of timeOccasional requirements may include standing for prolonged periods, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, and lifting and carrying a minimum of 25 lbs.
 
No tools Required/ There will be OT.
