Job Description:
  • Leads a maintenance team in the performance of Beech 300s, C90 GTi, Challenger 604/605-650, and Learjet 60 aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Supervise subordinate maintenance personnel and provide technical guidance on maintenance operations
  • Maintains, repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components, engines
  • Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components
  • Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment to airworthy status
  • Applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals
  • Provides technical support to internal and external customers
  • Completes and verifies work is properly documented to FAA/logbook standards
  • Provides guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and maintenance efforts.
Job Requirements:
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience as an aircraft maintenance technician for an FAA certified part 121, 135 or certified part 145 repair station working on transport category aircraft
  • 3 years as an aircraft maintenance supervisor for an FAA certified part 121, 135 or an FAA part 145 certified repair station with airworthiness release
  • Currently or formerly experienced with the Required Inspection Item (RII) process pursuant to transport category aircraft
  • Must possess a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and repair procedures
  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems
  • Must possess a detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills to prioritize the workload to meet aircraft maintenance schedules
