Boeing is seeking Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspectors to join our teams supporting Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seattle, Renton and Everett, WA.

In this role you will perform production installations, maintenance, preventative maintenance, alterations and quality assurance on aircraft structure, systems and sub-systems, including electrical and avionics on standard or experimental certificated aircraft.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.

  • Perform Quality functions such as Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.

  • Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.

  • Perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks in order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications.

  • Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.

  • Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2 &43; years of experience and/or education of aircraft assembly and/or maintenance.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred. Please note your certificate number on your resume if you are certified

  • Have an active U.S. Security Clearance or ability to obtain

  • Willing to travel domestically up to 10 of the time

  • Willing to work in a confined space environment given the proper training

*Years of experience can include completion or enrollment at an accredited aviation maintenance school

This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.

Shift:

This position is for 2nd shift.

Summary Pay Range: $33.10-$39.10 per hour
