B1 Mechanical Technician Super Puma AS332

Job Description:

• The B1 Mechanical Technician will be responsible to ensure optimal service support for maintenance and flight line activities to achieve the excellent fleet availability with highest quality and safety standards. The B1 Mechanical Technician will also be responsible to perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance (both scheduled and unscheduled) or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. The B1 Mechanical Technician will perform OJT on location as required.

• PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) or more years of experience in helicopters maintenance
• Five (5) or more years of experience in aeronautical industry

• SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE

• FAA or EASA Part-66 B1.3 licensed aircraft technician (ICAO licenses will also be considered)
• Aircraft Maintenance Type Training Course Part 147
• Practical working experience of Super Puma

• ESSENTIAL

• Have experience working within a team of technicians and ability to adapt to various work environments.
• English Proficiency (Advanced Level)
• Advanced Technical Diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of technical documentation
• Knowledge of Quality Control/Quality Assurance activities
• Knowledge of International and National Civil Aviation Legislation
• Ideal candidate will have experience of working on Airbus Helicopters platforms

• DESIRABLE

• Experience of working in a military environment
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
