Boeing is hiring Electronic Maintenance Technicians to join the team at our Portland, OR facility to install, maintain, repair, and rework electronic and/or electrical systems related to plant facilities and associated electronic/electrical components and specialized equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Use technical knowledge, existing procedures, (or develop new procedures), to diagnose and correct system and component malfunctions to achieve optimum operating efficiency.

  • Modify, test and calibrate electronic or electrical systems or components (including interactive and electro-mechanical components and adaptive computer system machine controls).

  • Use electronic test equipment and other tools to accomplish work on numerically controlled (NC) or computer numerically controlled (CNC) or other similar devices used to control machine operation.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • At least two years of electronic/electrical experience including related education in any of the following fields: machine tool maintenance, industrial electronic and/or electrical maintenance field, or military electronic/electrical system maintenance.

  • Valid State of Oregon Electrical License at the Manufacturing Plant level or higher and/or the ability to reciprocate your states license into Oregon

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Prefer experience in troubleshooting computer numerical controls (CNC), programmable logic controllers (PLC), AC and DC drives, and servo systems

  • Experience with, but not limited to, the following: Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, GE FANUC family, Siemens and Mazak/Mitsubishi, Honeywell controllers and experience with Wonderware

Relocation:

Relocation is offered for this role based on candidate eligibility.

Shift:

This position is for 2nd Shift

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.

Summary pay range: $47.00/hour - $49.98/hour
