Boeing are growing capability in the UK to support our US defence customer based at RAF Lakenheath. The Quality Assurance Representative will support the F-15 Lakenheath MOUS/SATURN modification effort.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for;

  • The Quality Assurance Representative will perform acceptance, in-process and final inspections of work completed by mechanics and technicians in the modification of the F-15 aircraft.
  • Conducts audits and monitors processes and programs as identified within the AFI 21-101.
  • Maintains Quality Management System requirements for the site in accordance with the AS9100 Standard.
  • The Quality Assurance Representative will work closely with QAR SME as a technical expert for the mentoring and training of technicians and mechanics on the program.
  • The Quality Assurance Representative will review and monitor technical work completion paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
  • They will ensure work completions are accomplished by certified and qualified individuals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience within an Aerospace / Defence industry.
  • Previous experience of Quality Assurance Management.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral.)
  • Experience working with limited supervision.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Results-focused and committed to excellent delivery.
  • This role will require UK security clearance.
  • Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
