Are you looking to join a talented team of mechanics? Silver Airways is hiring a GSE Mechanic in Orlando, FL. As ground support equipment (GSE) mechanic, you will be responsible for the regular maintenance of all ground vehicles and equipment.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Maintain and keep the following: repair records, preventive maintenance records, warranty records and submit reports as needed
- Perform routine maintenance as well as minor/major repairs of ground equipment and vehicles
- Perform troubleshooting of ground support equipment and maintain equipment in a safe condition
- Be able to make repairs on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Provide proper preventative care to keep crucial tools and equipment running smoothly
Minimum and Preferred Requirements:
- Valid driver&39;s license and clean driving record
- 2 years experience as a mechanic (automotive/diesel)
- Be able to speak and write English proficiently
- Own a basic set of metric tools to perform job functions
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screening, and Criminal Background check including fingerprinting
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
- Able to travel domestically and internationally a minimum of 25
