Maintenance Mechanic - Florida

Presidential Aviation is recruiting a professional, experienced, and motivated full-time Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic to join our team based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the Executive Airport (KFXE).

For selected candidates, offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of criminal background checks and drug testing requirements. Upon employment, you will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement and will be subject to a credit check.

• Licensed Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) holder
• Five (5) years of experience as a licensed A&P
• Operate man lifts and scissors lifts
• Own a complete set of tools for the job
• Own computer and printer
• Must live one hour from FXE

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, move, sit, bend, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch, or crawl
• Frequently required to talk, hear, and bend and twist neck
• Operate telephone, type in keyboard, and operate computer and mouse
• Occasionally life and/or move up to fifty pounds (50 lbs)
• Close vision and distance vision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Part 135 RTS procedures
• Four years, but can discuss based on other experiences.
• IA Endorsement
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

• Must live locally or be willing to relocate
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a valid green card hold
