Job Description:

Our client is a leading provider of Commercial Aircraft interior refurbishment, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we specialize in delivering top-tier solutions that ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our clients' aircraft fleets.

Position Overview:

In the Production Manager role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the plastics and composites divisions of the operation. Your responsibility will involve overseeing the smooth flow of work across repair station operations, ensuring timely delivery to the customer. The production manager can expect to have roughly 75 direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understands and maintains all documentation and regulations to FAA standards.
  • Manage maintenance personnel schedule.
  • Ensures that maintenance programs are adhered to during aircraft inspection and repair.
  • Manage and vet all maintenance personnel and contractors.
  • Successfully plan and schedule all maintenance tasks.
  • Administer, control, and record all training activities.
  • Conduct, review, and timely schedule all relevant work orders.
  • Ensure proper supervision and certification of all personnel.
  • Control and ensure appropriate levels of stock, inventory, tools, and materials.
  • Other duties and responsibilities are set in place by the Director of Operations as necessary.
Job Requirements:
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in the aerospace industry.
  • A&P Mechanic License.
  • Experience in an MRO or Hangar setting is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with interior components including plastics, composites, upholstery, and soft goods is helpful.
  • Must be able to lead a team while driving results.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations, documentation, and safety standards.
  • Motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
