The United States Marine Corps (USMC) CH-53K Training System is the US Navy’s program to provide realistic and effective training to the US Military’s latest generation of Heavy Lift Helicopter aircrew and maintainers. The Training System consists of high-fidelity flight simulators, hands-on maintenance trainers, and classroom instruction.
The Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the program execution (cost, schedule, technical) on a Firm Fixed Price contract as well as ROS (sales, orders, EBIT) commitments to the Corporation. The selected candidate will lead and integrate professionals from engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, and operations to ensure performance to the contract baseline. The candidate must be able to integrate disparate data during execution, be able to drive appropriate processes, identify and manage issues/risks/opportunities, and develop correction action path forward when necessary.
The CH-53K aircraft platform is expanding internationally through numerous opportunities. This PM role includes the necessity to execute flawlessly for the USMC and demonstrate the value of Lockheed Martin’s Training Architecture. Therefore, the PM must understand the overall strategy, come up with potential offerings and solutions to meet customer needs, seek new customers, and assist in capturing new contracts. Strategic mindset and proposal experience will be key in this role. The ability to create, maintain, and leverage Customers and relationships will be a priority. The PM will be responsible for working with the customer very closely and briefing senior leadership on program execution.

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ Years of Program Management experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with teamwork and transparency as a priority
• Demonstrable written communication and oral presentation skills
• Knowledge and understanding of Earned Value Management and processes associated with development, implementation, and management of cost and schedule baselines
• Demonstrated Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects/customers concurrently
• Expertise in relationship building and strong communication with internal and external customers and employees at all levels and across multiple cultures
• Collaboration with various team members (vertically and laterally)
• Proven background of demonstrating initiative and ability to drive issues/actions to closure
• Demonstrated proposal management experience
• Demonstrated design/development experience
• DOD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with the US Navy, NAVAIR, NAWCTSD or other military customers
• Prior experience leading skilled professionals

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
