This position will serve as a Classified Cyber Security Associate Manager for the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Air Commando Training Support (ACTS) program. As the Classified Cyber Security Associate Manager, the selected candidate will oversee day-to-day information system security operations. This includes hardware and software implementations, and ensuring ISs are operated and maintained in accordance with customer security requirements under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. The ability to work independently as well as with their teammates is paramount for this position as it is an extremely dynamic environment. The selected candidate will manage a team of Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) contract security specifications, customer governing requirements, policies, and procedures. The successful candidate will test state-of-the-art operating systems / networks, perform system / program auditing to validate configuration and processes are in accordance with the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation, and assist in regulatory periodic risk assessments, and ensure effective management of POA&Ms, Risk Assessments, Continuous Monitoring and Authorization Conditions
The candidate must have experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of Windows and Linux Servers/Clients, PC Desktops, network devices and supported applications. Successful Candidates will have a thorough understanding of the US Government system accreditation process under Risk Management Framework (RMF). This may include one or more of the following guidance directives: DoDI 8500.01, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, and Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253. The ISSO will be responsible for systems security, testing and system accreditation activities for multiple training platforms. The candidate will apply information technology security principles and configure security settings, complete weekly system audits, apply security patches and conduct media reviews. Assist in the development and implementation of government approved information security procedures and plans for the operation of multiple networked systems, and coordinate government agency approvals. Consult on the design, development, integration, and analysis of classified computing systems with the programs and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). Assist with self-inspection reviews. Assist in conducting comprehensive investigation of computer security incidents, coordinating with other organizations for expertise.
Basic Qualifications:
- A comprehension of security standards and frameworks, rules and regulations, and system trust principals, such as FedRAMP, FIPS, NIST SP 800 Series, etc.
- Progressively responsible experience in IT/Security project management
- Proficient in Technical Security requirements across multiple domains (Operating Systems, Networks, High Performance Computing. Etc.)
- Energetic, highly motivated, and passionate about cyber technologies
- Team player –Effective at leading collaboration amongst teams at multiple locations, organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals to act as “one”
- Willing to travel to off-site locations

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
