The Controls and Automation Programs team is seeking a dynamic Program Manager for the Controls and Automation products on the Littoral Combat Ship and the Multi-Mode Surface Combatant ship classes with prior experience in roles such as Program Manager, IPT Lead, Lead Engineer, or Planner. Candidate must have familiarization with managing technical development and production efforts. This Program Manager will have responsibility for the development, integration and delivery of the ship machinery and electrical plant controls systems on the two ship classes, working as a core member of the overall ship IPT structure. This selected candidate will also support the overall Controls and Automation portfolio strategy and proposal activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Project Initiatives: Guide the planning and execution of projects within the LCS / MMCS Controls and Automation programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and contractual commitments.
• Coordinate Cross-functional Teams: Work across different teams to ensure a cohesive approach in meeting program goals, maintaining clear communication and alignment across production and sustainment contracts.
• Milestone Management: Establish program milestones, monitor adherence to schedules, and employ risk management strategies to identify and resolve program challenges.
• Deliver Quality Products and Services: Oversee the delivery of products and services, ensuring they meet contract requirements and uphold quality standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary interface with government and contractor key team members, effectively communicating program status and requirements.
• Program Oversight: Ensure program compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors in Engineering, Business or related discipline from an accredited University
• Program Management Knowledge
• Ability to manage Program performance with a cross functional team
• Demonstrated ability in risk management, problem-solving, and Earned Value Management (EVM) in a dynamic project environment.
• Proficiency in Risk and Opportunity Management, ensuring the identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential project risks and capitalizing on opportunities.
• Ability to travel up to 25 as required by the program needs.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in managing Agile-based projects, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in proposal development and management, showcasing skills in crafting compelling and successful project proposals.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in leading complex projects within the field of Controls and Automation, preferably in a naval or maritime context.
• Strong understanding of LCS (Littoral Combat Ship) and MMCS (Mission Module Control System) frameworks and operational requirements.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
