Job Description:
The overall mission for the IT Business Operations function is to manage key business operational elements through oversight, standardization, governance, reporting and process improvement. As Director of IT Business Operations, you will report to SNC’s Sr. Vice President of IT and have the responsibility to lead and manage several IT business elements associated with the IT function. These include Financial planning, budget management, KPI/Metrics management, Risk management, and Brand management. Further, you will partner with other IT and non-IT organizations to provide relevant Supplier/Contract management, Staffing Management and compliance management deliverables. Lastly, this position has overall accountability for cost optimization and spend optimization associated with the IT organization.

As SNCs corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field of study
    • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Typically 10-12 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive experience and acumen with financial management of an 8-figure budget.
  • Proven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews
  • Strong background in supplier management and experience in managing contracts / statements of work
  • Solid skills in team building, time management, conflict resolution and creating transparent relationships
  • Strategic thinker that can articulate vision, mission and value to customers, employees and leadership
  • Ability to navigate and deliver results through variability, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity
  • Stellar ability to execute through influence within and across functional lines to achieve results
  • Mastery in written, verbal communication and presentation skills at the executive (C-Suite) level
  • Attention to detail and ability to drive to root cause in order to identify corrective action
  • Experience in developing, leading operational reviews across leadership teams including leading the development and instantiation of KPIs/Metrics

Preferred:

  • Communications / Marketing experience
  • Direct Program Contract experience
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Masters degree in Business Administration

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $186,100.35 - $255,887.98. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
