The Environmental, Health and Safety Advisor will participate in the management and implementation of EHS policies, procedure and forms that comply with both regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, ADEM, NFPA, etc. and ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards) in our manufacturing environment and use leadership skills to improve the HSE practices throughout our processes. They will support the EHS team by assisting in training, document creation/revisions, hazard assessments (machine and task specific), waste management, incident prevention, etc. They will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with team members from Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality to improve the performance of EHS across the site.
The Site Security Manager will be responsible for ensuring the protection of the People, Assets, Information and Reputation of the GKN site.
The SSC will have the experience, capability and capacity to manage physical and Information Security and provide operational direction and support to the site through the delivery of a security risk management program. This will enable the site to play its part in enabling GKN to meet its business priorities, contractual and regulatory obligations and maintain its ‘License to Operate.’
Internal collaboration with the Central Security Team (CST), Business Line Security Leads (BLSL) and functional stakeholders will be key to understanding the risks and delivering solutions which support the manufacturing programs. Where appropriate, liaison with Contracting Authorities and customer peers will ensure that expectations are understood and obligations met.
The SSC will act as the point of contact for all security aspects at the site, providing advice and support, implementing governance & compliance, managing physical and technical security programs, 3rd Party Security contractor management, monitoring travel security risks, conducting investigations and delivering training and awareness programs across the site.
