Join our dynamic team at easyJet Group as a Finance Manager – Group Financial Reporting, reporting directly to the Group Chief Accountant. Youll be an essential part of our Group Financial Reporting (GFR) team who deliver Group statutory reporting, monthly management accounts, CFO reporting, and performance reports for the Airline Management Board and plc; being part of the overall team delivery is a fundamental element of the role. Collaborating closely with teams across easyJet and our 3rd party publisher you will contribute to the successful delivery of our Group Annual Report and Accounts, ensuring compliance with external reporting requirements. The role includes Group balance sheet reporting and maintaining the balance sheet standard as well as annual reporting in support of the Treasury bond programme. Additionally you will find yourself providing expertise on accounting judgments, legal provisions, and accounting papers.

This exciting role is project led: current projects include developing the replacement for the statutory reporting application, setting up FY24 balance sheet deep-dives and reviews and implementing continuous improvement initiatives ahead of year end reporting. Job Requirements:

What you need to do the role

We're seeking someone with the proven ability to cultivate relationships and exercise influence, ensuring the integrity of accounting submissions while challenging stakeholder inputs. Essential qualifications include ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accreditation with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience, exposure to statutory account preparation and reporting, adeptness in interpreting and applying accounting policies and standards, and the capacity to communicate financial concepts effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. The ideal person demonstrates attention to detail and systems acumen, is familiar with working in a control-led environment, possesses problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement, and exhibits self-motivation and enthusiasm.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK

The role can be done on a full-time (40 hour week) or part time (32 hour week) basis. The role is based in Luton. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office.
