Responsible for managing, integrating and prioritizing work by the flight operations mission support team in direct support of multiple geographically separated sites (CONUS and OCONUS). Reports directly to the Operations Manager. Serves as the Manager of Operations in his/her absence. Position contingent upon contract award.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage 24/7 mission integration and support center.Schedule and coordinate the movement of air crew and support personnel.Conduct and support operational and mission planning.Orchestrate resolution of mission impacting shortfalls in personnel, equipment or spare parts.Ensure operational requirements are safely accomplished in accordance with customers established standards and operating procedures.Provide a continuous, accurate picture of the current status of flights, personnel and critical equipment. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Perform routine OCONUS travel and within CONUS travel as required.Position requires a U.S. Department of State Secret ClearancePerform other duties as assigned.
B.A./B.S. degree from a four-year college or university in a related field and/or combination of education and related experience. FAA Commercial Pilots Certificate
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
U.S. military RW or FW Pilot or other Commercial equivalent. 7-9 years mixed rotary and fixed-wing aircraft fleet management and operation experience. Minimum five (5) years experience in the management of aviation operations. 1,500 hours total flight time. Knowledge of OCONUS flight operations coordination, execution and management.
One (1) year experience performing duties with similar responsibilities managing complex aviation operations desired.
