Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Everett, Washington, Seattle, Washington is seeking a Mid-level or Senior Project Manager to join our Network and Digital Connectivity Systems team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans aligned with our organizational objectives, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines
  • Leadership and Team Management:  Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and motivation to achieve project milestones and deliverables
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure the successful execution of projects, considering the unique challenges within Boeing Commercial, Boeing Global Services and Aircraft Systems Core
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to guarantee the reliability and safety of network systems within the aerospace context
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project status, updates, and potential issues to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals
  • Resource Oversight: Manage project budgets efficiently, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards, navigating the complex regulatory landscape inherent in the aerospace sector
  • Innovation and Technology Integration: Stay abreast of industry advancements, incorporating innovative technologies and practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of network systems
  • Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, facilitating seamless knowledge transfer and aiding in post-project analysis
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to optimize project processes and enhance overall project management practices within the aerospace domain
  • Network Systems Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of aerospace network systems, ensuring the successful integration and functionality of digital connectivity solutions within the aerospace environment
  • These tasks reflect the diverse responsibilities a Senior Project Manager in Network and Digital connectivity systems might handle, combining technical expertise with leadership and strategic thinking

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Project management experience
  • Experience in managing complex project schedules and managing large scale program and projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong executive presentation skills
  • 3+ years’ experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
  • 3+ years’ experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or Project Management Certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and other work management tools, such as JIRA or ADO
  • Experience working with international teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in workforce development 
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Masters degree in a a related field.

Education and Experience:

(Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

(Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: Level 3-$79,475 – $116,380

Summary pay range: Level 4-$98,260 – $143,888
