Model & Simulations Hardware Lead

As a Model & Simulations Hardware Lead at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, your responsibilities are:

  • Design, develop, and implement deployable M&S hardware to support real time test events
  • Manage the lifecycle of deployable hardware products, from conception through to deployment and operational support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hardware with software, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility in varied operational environments.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure the reliability, durability, and security of deployable hardware systems.
  • Lead team of hardware engineers

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:  

Required Education and Years of Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+5 years’, Master +7 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Required Qualifications: ​

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in hardware engineering, with specific experience in developing deployable hardware systems
  • Experience applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify highly-complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities, adept at conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment. 

Desired Qualifications: ​

        Extensive experience in leading and coordinating work to translate requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs. 

        Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in database management systems and electronic systems development.

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$99,000 - $177,000
